Jino Meri
Kaabong district chairperson has described the incident as unfortunate, saying
this is the 3rd incident in a spate of 2 weeks in which the district
is registering cases of gun violence.
Meri adds
that on the 25th December, a woman was ambushed and killed, while
the second incident on the 29th December saw an employee of National
water attacked and killed.
Meri
suspects that these criminals are part of those who have been hiding in the
game parks but flashed out due to the ongoing operations in the park.
He called
upon the locals to work hand in hand with the security in order to report these
criminals so that the district can realize relative peace.
