An 18 year old man has been
arrested by police in Apeitolim, Napak district for allegedly defiling a three
year old toddler.
Karamoja
regional police spokesperson, IP Mike Longole has identified the suspect as
Michael Okia, saying he committed the offense on 30th of July 2023.
Longole says
Okia was nabbed from his hideout, adding that police investigators visited the
scene of crime and have collected relevant material evidence to support the
charge.
He says the
suspect will be arraigned before court once investigations are complete.
