The UPDF 3^rd Division has launched its 1^st edition of the military games that will see competitors drawn from the 4 brigades across North Eastern region.

Captain Julius Adengo, the division sports officer revealed that a total of 10 teams will face each other in the sporting disciplines of Football, Netball and Shooting range, with the finals expected to be played on the 9th.

Adengo confirmed the presence of the 3^rd div team, 405 Brigade Kotido, 403 brigade Matany, 407 battalion Nakapiripirit, 3^rd Battalion, X-ray battalion from Moroto, Yankee team Katakwi and Airforce with others yet to arrive.

He adds that the games have been organized so as to identify players who will then constitute a full team that will represent the division in the 2024 UPDF cup competitions.

The games will be played at Moroto Bomah grounds, Moroto high school grounds as well as Moroto prison grounds while the 2^nd Edition is set to be hosted in Kotido district.
