A boda boda rider has survived with gun
wounds, after falling into an ambush set by unknown suspected Karimojong
warriors in Kaabong district.
Karamoja police mouthpiece,
IP Mike Longole has identified the boda rider as David Atwar, saying he was
shot on the right leg while riding a motorbike with registration number KMGJ
984T.
Longole says the incident
occurred at Moruaeperu hills, along Kotido-Loyoro road in Kaabong district.
He adds that the suspects
armed with two SMG riffles after shooting the rider made away with three crates
of beer, leaving the motorcycle in the middle of the road.
The victim has been rushed
to Loyoro health centre three for treatment while his bike is parked at Loyoro
ASTU detach, according to Longole.
