Joint security forces at the Nadunget checkpoint have intercepted a man with two stolen sheep, carrying them on a bicycle.

The man has been identified by police as Angella Abraham, a resident of Lomuria village, Lopei sub-county in Napak district.

According to police spokesperson for Karamoja Mike Longole, upon interrogation, Angella revealed that he had stolen the sheep from Lokodokodoi village in Ngoleriet sub-county and that he was expecting to sell them in Moroto town.

In a related development, two suspects have been arrested by ASTU forces, attempting to sell stolen bulls at Naturum cattle market.

The suspects are Achuun Moses and Achakar Paul, all residents of Moruangamion village, Natirae sub county in Nabilatuk district.

Longole says once investigations are complete, the suspects will be arraigned before the courts of law.
