Joint security forces in Kaabong district have recovered an AK 47
and also arrested one Loumwa Lomol a resident of Moruangikamar village Lobatou
in Kathile sub county.

is also the suspect behind the murder of Lokong Alfred Namboso, the headteacher
Narube primary school who was gunned down
Kaabong
district chairman Meri Jino has confirmed the development, saying the arrest
followed intelligence report about the presence of Loumwa -who has been on the
wanted list of security forces.
An operation
was conducted, leading to the arrest of Loumwa and the recovery of an AK 47 gun
with 28 rounds of ammunition from Loumwa’s residence in Moruangikamar village.
Meri says
the suspect further revealed that together with other suspects at large and a
UPDF deserter identified as Lioki Lokiding, they shot dead Namboso the head
teacher to prevent him from testifying against Lokiding’s brother who is in
prison for the theft of food stuff from Narube primary School.
According to
Meri, Loumwa is being held at the UPDF 45th battalion headquarters
to aid with information that could lead to his other accomplices.

Efforts to get
comments from the security authorities at Kaabong CPS and UPDF 3rd
division were futile as their known telephone numbers went unanswered.
