The Senior 4 and 6
candidates of Kotido SS today received blessings from religious leaders in
Kotido district, a head of the UNEB examinations slated to start on 13th
October with briefing.
The
candidates consist 243 senior four who will be the first to begin exams while
on the 10th November 99 Senior 6 candidates of the school will join
their counterparts around the country for briefing.
The mass
that commenced at 10 AM was led by the Bishop of Kotido diocese Rt. Rev.
Dominic Eibu along with Rt Rev Simon Aisu the Bishop for North Karamoja diocese
and also his Eminence Issa Kedi Pedo the district Khadi North Karamoja.
In his
homily, Bishop Eibu prayed for the candidates to be protected by the holy
spirit against sickness, memory loss and confusion that normally befall
candidates at such times, urging them to stay close to God by praying hard to
strengthen their faith.

Issa Kedi Pedo reminded the candidates on the importance of hard work as they
near the exams period and called upon them to behave and be disciplined, urging
those who had wronged the teachers, fellow students and parents to repent and
ask for forgiveness so that they succeed in their exams

The Rt. Rev
Simon Aisu on the other hand encouraged the candidates to be humble at this
time adding that they should feel free at such times to consult with the
teachers and their fellow students in the same classes.

candidates were filled with Joy, excitement and courage while singing songs of
praise, a sign that the presence of the 3 top religious leaders has given them
the power to take on the forthcoming exams.
