Kotido Municipality MP Ismail Lomwar has urged community members to embrace government’s parish development model so as to realize its intended motive of uplifting Ugandans from subsistence to money economy.

Lomwar says despite the hard economic times, beneficiaries need to be advised to apply for a million shillings so as to fully finance their projects.

He has urged those responsible for guiding the beneficiaries with filling the forms to implore them to apply for 1 million shillings and not less, a sum he is optimistic will start them projects that will elevate them to the money economy.

Lomwar further appealed to the households that missed out in the first phase to wait for the second phase, saying PDM is a 5 year plan which will target all the households in the parishes across the country.
