Nabilatuk district has disbursed 100 percent parish development model-PDM fund to the beneficiaries.

The district chairperson, Paul Lokol says by the beginning of last week, the disbursement exercise was already at 86.7 percent and the remaining 13.3 percent were those who had earlier missed receiving their monies but says the district authorities have already instructed the parish chiefs to ensure that the banks pay them.

Lokol says as of this week, they are receiving reports from the parish chiefs indicating that those who missed out have finally received their monies and the district is now compiling the reports on the disbursement of the funds.

He pointed out that the district is now waiting for the next disbursement so that they can give out to the next beneficiaries.

Lokol expressed optimism that the beneficiaries that received the funds will put it to good use, adding that the few farmers he has interacted with have already purchased their farm inputs and opening up their lands while those interested in livestock farming have as well restocked.
