Nabilatuk district chairperson has revealed that security organs are scaling up deployment of security personnel in the district a head of the festive season.

According to Lokol, the scaling up exercise is to avert escalation of crime majorly raids that are carried out around the festive season following laxity of the populace.

Citing last year, 2022 Lokol says the district suffered grievous raids but noted that they look forward to ensuring such scenarios are not repeated.

Without divulging further details, the district boss says the district security team together with the 3^rd division and Police authorities have held a meeting and generated plans to ensure that they rid the district of any attacks from both internal and external criminals.

He adds that, they expect the deployments of the security personnel to commence today but warned those thinking of disrupting peace during the festivities to refrain or be dealt with accordingly.
