Nakapelimoru
tops the table on a goal difference of 15 goals followed by Beba-Beba FC which
also garnered 9 points with a goal difference of 7 goals following their 2 wins
in the final day beating 405 Brigade FC 2-1 and Panyangara FC 1-0
According to
the table standings, 405 Brigade FC came 3rd with 7 points followed
by Panyangara FC with 2 points and X-ray FC with 1 point.
Speaking
after the games, Amadi Yadanga the chairperson Kotido DFA however revealed that
there were issues arising contesting the win of Nakapelimoru FC against
Panyangara FC where the other 3 teams lodged complaints of match fixing, which
makes Nakapelimoru FC’s advancement into round of 64 games hang in balance.
Amadi says
as the overseers of the games, they have sent the referee’s match report
complemented by the lodged complaints of the 3 teams to the FUFA regional
office in Soroti and are waiting for their final verdict over the events that
unfolded during the games.
