Police in Kaabong district are holding 4 suspects in connection with the 04^th January shooting in Komoria ward Kaabong town council that claimed one life and injured 2 others.

Michael Longole, Karamoja regional police spokesperson has confirmed the arrests adding that the 4 were picked up yesterday Sunday the 7^th of January to aid with information that could lead to the arrest of the prime suspect.

Without mentioning the names of those arrested for fear of jeopardizing investigations, Longole confirmed that following a tip off from reliable sources, they believe the 4 who are mostly relatives know the hide out of the prime suspect who is still armed.

According to Longole the police authorities have already started interrogating the suspects and they are making progress.

The police mouthpiece has appealed to the locals who have information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to release them so that the culprits are arraigned in the courts of law.
