Our Vision is To have Moroto as the base transmission station with more stations in Kotido, Abim, and Nakapiripirit to cater for those within there so as to reduce the cost of travelling up to Moroto for live programs
88.7 Ateker Moroto FM - Serving Our Great Community (Akijaanakin Ebuku Yok Ngolo Apolon) is the only full service, independent radio station in Karamoja Sub Region North - Eastern Uganda established and serving the community since 2018. There is something for everyone on 88.7 Ateker Moroto FM: jazz and rock music, public affairs, educational, arts, and culture programs, and much more play-by-play action. 88.7 Ateker Moroto FM is a privately owned radio station being operated by the local people to meet the demand of our local Ateker people within the region and is staffed primarily by Ateker people.
